Within the last few weeks we have had seven separate burglaries and one auto theft in the Anneslie, Loch Hill, Overbook and Idlewylde neighborhoods. The photos of the suspect from an incident in early October has been distributed, and since then we have had more incidents.  We have made an arrest on one burglary and have a suspect identified on another. I am not convinced that all of these incidents are the work of the same suspect(s) as they are occurring at different times. Most have occurred in the late hours between 8 pm and 1 am, but we did have one in the mid afternoon.

Unfortunately, in nearly all of the cases windows have been left open, doors and windows unlocked and very little lighting and precautions have been taken.

Can you please inform all your residents to protect themselves by turning on lights in the evening, locking all windows and doors and calling 911 when suspicious persons are in the area.

I appreciate everyone getting involved and working in partnership with us to make your neighborhoods safer.

Thank You

Jan
