Dr. Peter Beilenson
SAVE THE DATE – The Friends of the Towson Library’s annual meeting is the evening of May 7, 2013. Our speaker will be Dr. Peter Beilenson, author of Tapping into the Wire: the Real Urban Crisis. The Amazon.com review says “….. delivers a compelling, highly readable examination of urban policy and public health issues affecting cities across the nation.” Dr. Beilenson was Baltimore City Health Commissioner for 13 years and most recently Howard County Health Officer for the past 5 1/2 years. He is presently is the CEO of The Evergreen Health Co-operative. This meeting will take place in the Towson Meeting Room.
The annual Friends of the Towson Library book sale 2013 is April 11-14, 2013.
