Sponsored by the Green Towson Alliance.
What: As you know, one of the wonderful things about the new Radebaugh Neighborhood Park is that the property drains water from the whole hillside into the Herring Run stream, which runs into the Back River which runs into the Chesapeake Bay. The unfortunate part is that the water carries a lot of trash with it. This is the second annual stream cleanup here, carried out by volunteers, organized by the Green Towson Alliance through the Alliance for the Chesapeake and our watershed organization, Blue Water Baltimore.
When: Saturday, April 22, 2017, 10 a.m to noon-ish
Where: We will meet by the Radebaugh Design Center at 50 Aigburth Avenue, and clean the stream from Burke Ave down to Aigburth Road.
What to bring: Please wear shoes that can get wet. We will have gloves and big trash bags.
